I obtained my Basic – Honours Certificate of Competency in May of 2017 and my Advanced in December of the same year. My interests are in Emergency Communications and Community Service. I wrote and passed my RAC Certified Emergency Coordinators exam in May of 2018. I have since taken and passed ICS 100, 200 and Basic Emergency Management from AEMA.

I am a member of the Radio Amateurs of Canada, The Northers Alberta Radio Club and the Southern Alberta Repeater Association as well as the Edmonton and Ares Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES).

I mostly work with VHF and UHF but I have picked up a Kenwood T-450SAT and am starting to play in the 20 Metre band for now with Voice and digital modes. See my Blog.
